Our Pricing Model
Blue Sage Pediatric Speech and Language Therapy is a private-pay speech therapy practice. We do not bill insurance directly. This model allows us focus more on supporting your child and gives us greater flexibility to make recommendations based on your child’s individual communication needs.
Therapy can be fully focused on your child, your family, and your priorities with the freedom to adjust goals, frequency, and treatment approach as your child’s or your family’s needs change.

Finances are an important part of choosing your provider, and we believe that families should be fully informed from the beginning. Our rates are published upfront so you can feel confident in your decision to work with us.

Using Your Out of Network Benefits for In-Home Speech Therapy
Blue Sage does not bill insurance directly as an “in-network provider,” but families with out of network benefits may be eligible for reimbursement from their insurance plan.
Upon request, we can provide you with a superbill, which is receipt for services that includes the clinical and billing information your insurance company may require when you submit a claim for out of network reimbursement.
Because every insurance plan is different, we cannot guarantee reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning services if you plan to use out-of-network benefits.
If you have questions about using your out of network benefits, please contact us. We are more than happy to answer your questions and provide you with additional information to help you make an informed decision for your family.
Benefits of Private In-Home Speech and Language Therapy
Insurance requirements often determine when therapy is or is not covered, what services qualify for coverage, how long a child can be in therapy, and how care is structured. Private speech therapy services puts that control back into the hands of the family and the therapist! We have more freedom to make decisions based on what is clinically appropriate for your child and meaningful for your family.
Your Child Doesn't Have to Meet an Insurance Company's Criteria
With Blue Sage, access to therapy doesn't depend on whether an insurance plan considers your child's needs medically necessary, meets specific eligibility requirements, or approves a particular service.
Clinical Decisions Stay Between Your Family and Your SLP
Goals, treatment frequency, session length, and the course of therapy can be based on your child's needs and progress rather than authorization periods, visit limits, or requirements imposed by an insurance plan.
Support When and
How Your Family Needs It
Private therapy can be used as ongoing care, short-term support, an intensive period of treatment, or alongside school, ECI, or other services. We are honored to support you in whatever way works best for your family.
